Mount Pleasant, SC — November 12, 2022 — Luma Brighter Learning has been named the winner of Gold Stevie® Awards in the categories of Company of the Year and Most Innovative Company for more than 10 employees at the 2022 Stevie Awards for Women in Business. They also won a Silver Stevie® Award winner in the category of Achievements in Sustainability.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners Saturday night during a gala event attended by nominees and their guests at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was broadcast via Livestream.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories.

Luma Brighter Learning, a learning and instructional design company, stood above the competition because of their work in the trucking industry. Especially, their award-winning eNugget platform, which has shown through correlational research that it makes fleets more efficient and safer. Thus, Luma took this knowledge to build Luma Emerge, a safety training product for fleets of all sizes. Luma is dedicated to helping all fleets regardless of resources.

Moreover, they showed that their forms and communication tools help fleets go completely paperless. The past two years they have saved over 700 trees and fleets a lot of money!

Luma Brighter Learning is on the pulse of innovation in their field, one that is so important to our economy.

Dr. Gina Anderson said during her acceptance speech,

“We are here because of those that support us, work for us, or buy products and services from us. We all can do small things, but together we can do something wonderful.”

Dr. Scott Anderson added while accepting the award for Most Innovative Company of the Year – More Than 10 Employees,

“We have a lot to be proud of. First of all, we’re proud of this recognition. Thank you Stevies. Second of all, we’re proud of our team– their accomplishments and the passion that they bring to our industry. Because they truly are making a difference.”
