Interaction Types


For decades there has been discussions of interaction types in education. (Anderson, 2003) Most interaction types observed in driver training traditionally are learner to instructor or learner to content. Moreover, most interaction time with driver training and orientation is synchronous or at the same time. This Learning Strategy is going to help you think about ways you can hold training without a physical classroom.

The following Lesson is broken down into two different interaction times.


Lesson #26: Building Community in Your Organization

Objectives

  • Share ideas to build community in your organization.
  • Brainstorm a company-wide event to bring employees together.

Materials

  • Post-In Notes or colored pieces of scape paper and something like a baseball hat, bucket, box to drop them in.

Instructional Procedures for F2F

  1. Arrange the room in tables and put post-it notes or colored paper pieces on the tables for the activity.
  2. You can put all the questions in this activity on a slide to project on a screen or write them on a board as you are ready to discuss them:
