Luma, an instructional design and learning company, is excited to announce the recent promotions of Elizabeth Nordquest to Director of Creative Services and Megan Hensley to Director of Learning Programs.
Dr. Gina Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Luma, noted it is exciting that Megan and Elizabeth are not new to Luma, as they have both worked on the team for several years as contractors and each understand the mission and vision of the organization. “As a company, we want to do great work and make a difference in the learning of the audiences we touch. Both Megan and Elizabeth have that same passion and drive”, says Gina.
“This is an exciting time for Luma and our entire team” added Dr. Scott Anderson, co-founder and COO of Luma. “We both felt this was a perfect time, given the growth in our learning products and offerings, and the specific talents of Elizabeth and Megan, to bring them on in a leadership capacity.”
Elizabeth has worked directly with Gina since 2006. She was the key illustrator on both Luma’s STEMCity® and eNugget® platforms. She has played a significant role in the background of Luma’s digital and creative assets. In her new role, she will lead Luma’s social and marketing strategies, while providing strategic planning for current and future products and positioning them in the marketplace. With Elizabeth’s creativity and illustrative talents, she is the perfect person to step into this role and provide leadership as the creative unit grows.
Megan has worked directly with the Luma team since 2014 as their educational specialist. She has assisted in the course design and building of all Luma learning programs. She has always overseen the quality and consistency in the background, and will now take on a leadership role as the programs expand and grow. With her experience and background in education and instructional design, Megan is the perfect person to provide leadership as the instructional design unit grows.
Megan and Elizabeth took on their new roles April 1.
