Instructional Procedures for F2F

1.	In order to be ready for the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse on January 6th, 2020 support your drivers in getting registered.
2.	Set up a classroom with iPads, computers, or have drivers use their phones.
3.	Tell the drivers the purpose of the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. If you are not sure, review Luma’s eNugget® on the The CDL Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse for Motor Carriers or the materials on the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse website.
4.	Pass out the registration steps worksheet. Walk them through registration.
5.	Here is the link to the registration page: https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
6.	Have them sign your company policy on general consent for limited queries of the FMCSA and a drug and alcohol acknowledgement form. Save time and have more efficient record keeping if you do this step as digital forms in Luma’s eNuggets®.
7.	Optional: Provide an incentive if they complete registration and forms, like a Starbucks gift card for a free coffee.

Instructional Procedures for Online

1.	In order to be ready for the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse on January 6th, 2020 support your drivers in getting registered.
2.	Provide drivers with a link to the The CDL Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse: Overview and Details for Drivers eNugget® or something similar so they can get an overview of the purpose of it.
3.	The registration PDF is already linked in the eNugget® along with the link to registration page: https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
4.	Have them sign your company policy on general consent for limited queries of the FMCSA and a drug and alcohol acknowledgement form digitally in Luma’s eNuggets®. We have general forms already ready to go.
